The result of an investigation lasting several weeks, the searches were carried out in two places where narcotics were sold on rue Clemenceau and Place des Muguets.

Three of the six suspects aged between 24 and 35 have been released on a promise to appear, while the other three remain in detention.

They are particularly likely to face charges of cocaine trafficking, possession of cannabis and methamphetamines and concealment, said the Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS).

Several quantities of drugs were seized, including cocaine, cannabis, as well as cash, cell phones, scales and two Mitsubishi Lancer and Mazda 3 vehicles.
