It has now been fourteen years since TF1 stopped broadcasting the Star Academy. The telecrochet had however been briefly broadcast on NRJ12. After a few weeks of rumors, things are finally materializing and are likely to delight those nostalgic for the time of Jenifer or even Nolwenn Leroy, Elodie Frégé and many others. Indeed, the show will make its return to France for next fall.
And for this homecoming, the Vives-Eaux castle in Dammarie-les-Lys (Seine-et-Marne) will once again open its doors. “We needed an emblematic place” confided an employee at the microphone of the Parisian.
But be careful, forget the decor as you knew it. “The former candidates’ room will become a bridal suite with an unobstructed view of the Seine”had entrusted the new owner in 2021 to our colleagues from TVMag. That said, the recording studio as well as the theater room remained intact.
Moreover, Nikos Aliagas will always be there. “It is a guarantee of security, believes a relative. Nikos knows the show, he has easy contact with French and international artists, he knows how to manage the unexpected…” confided close to the journalist. Thus, he will juggle between that, The Voice and 50’Inside. It remains to be seen whether there will be the same prestigious guests.

In the meantime, the casting has been opened. This was announced during the Koh-Lanta evening between two commercials. TF1 relayed the video on Twitter. What cause a real tidal wave. The show quickly found itself in Top Trends on the social network with messages such as: “the return… Do you think I have a chance after humming when I was a kid thanks to McDonald’s?”, “This show is my childhood, just as much as Loft Story and the Celebrity Farm. It was something !” or “The return of the best TV show. I hope for a cast of authentic people, a return to the castle at Damary Les Lys, and a version that will not be on the cheap” and “We need Raphaelle Richie!!”.
