SYNOPSIS

Warsaw 1983. The son of an activist close to Solidarność is beaten to death by the police. Lies threats: the totalitarian regime of General Jaruzelski will try by all means to prevent the holding of a fair trial.

The true story of one of the most dramatic crimes related to martial law in Poland – the assault and battery that led to the death of young Grzegorz Przemyk by the national militia. The attempted cover-up of the affair by the communist authorities between 1983-1984 led to an unprecedented popular uprising and was the precursor to the fall of Polish power.
