“From the attic, to the stars…” is the new musical show by Les Etoiles Noires, on tour in Franche-Comté with France Bleu Besançon for the benefit of the Semons L’Espoir association, which helps hospitalized children.
The Black Stars were born in 1995, when 17-year-old Emilie relapsed from leukemia. His friends decide to help the association Semons L’Espoir created by his parents, Charlyne and Pierre Dornier, to improve the living conditions of sick children in the hospital. The group has the idea of offering variety shows to support this cause under the name of the Black Stars.
For 25 years, Les Etoiles Noires have traveled the roads of our region. The troupe has around twenty dancers, singers, amateur musicians and technicians. Some have known the disease as children, their presence on stage is a real message for those who are struggling in the hospital. As reinforcement during the tours, Les Etoiles Noires are accompanied by many volunteers in the shadows behind the scenes, a precious help for the preparation of the sets, the installation of the stage, the reception of the spectators, and even for the service of good little dishes before each performance. The shows, offered by the troupe every two years, are real bursts of Hope, Happiness, and Joy. During the space of an evening, the spectators escape from their daily life, a bit of a dream in their heads. Obviously, the Nights of Hope could not take place without the support and solidarity of all Francs-Comtois, who for more than two hours, go from laughter to tears, sow Love, Hope hand in hand with the artists on stage. Through well-known songs, Les Etoiles Noires sing and dance life, made of shadow and light.
