this star presenter of the 8 p.m. news comes out of his reserve and tells the whole truth!

A dark affair that has probably not finished delivering new twists. In February 2021, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor was plunged into a media and legal whirlwind following the shock testimony of Florence Porcel, an author who accused him of having imposed non-consensual sexual intercourse on him in 2004, then fellatio in 2009. This virulent accusation had had the effect of freeing the floor and many other women had subsequently come out of the silence.

The former star of TF1’s 8 p.m. news finally found himself targeted by complaints from eight women, who accused him of “rape”, “sexual assault” or “sexual harassment”. After five months of investigations, the Nanterre prosecutor’s office indicated on June 25 that it was closing the Patrick Poivre d’Arvor case without further action, due to “prescription” or for “insufficient evidence”. But on November 25, Florence Porcel relaunched the case by filing a new complaint with civil action. Recently the broadcast of France 2’s “Complément d’Enquête” delivered new edifying revelations.

This weekend, Gilles Bouleau reacted to this case. Invited on Saturday May 30 by Laurent Ruquier and Lé Salamé in “We are live”, the current presenter of the 8 p.m. television news was asked whether this story embraced the channel. “I don’t think so, it was a very long time ago, the protagonists of the time are no longer there”, estimated Gilles Bouleau. In the process, the 59-year-old journalist who moderated the debate between two rounds alongside Léa Salamé dotted the i’s. “A lot of people who were in the newsroom like me didn’t know. I have no reason to lie, I have no particular animosity or protection to give him, I didn’t know”, he asserted. Clear, clean and precise!
