Maître Laurent Boguet is the children’s lawyer for Delphine Jubillar, the Tarn nurse who disappeared without a trace in December 2020. The father of this 7-year-old boy, Louis, and his 2-year-old sister, Elyah, is Cédric Jubillar, painter-plasterer currently in Toulouse-Seysses in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide since June 2021. It will be a year since this man, suspect number 1, has been behind bars, claiming his innocence. The lawyer wanted to give news of the two little ones at the heart of a complex affair, at the microphone of France 3 Occitanie.
“They are doing the best they can. They are surrounded by love. They have found effective support with their maternal aunt and her entourage and quite simply a new home… they are also helped by shrinks“, explains the lawyer who adds that their father “would only have sporadic contact“with his children.
Two young people plunged into a terrible tragedy, that of having suddenly lost their mother without any explanation for almost a year and a half. Cherished by the family of Delphine née Aussaguel, they no longer have the tenderness of their mother who loved them so much, as the victim’s cousin confided to BFMTV: falling asleep alone without “hug from their mom“must be terribly hard she confided.
The relatives of the young woman are certain, she could never have left by abandoning her offspring, having herself lost her mother. Delphine Jubillar’s friends, who maintain a Facebook page in honor of the one of whom there are no more traces, wrote two months ago: “We know that you are well surrounded, at your loving auntie, with your uncles, but nothing will replace your mom. She was your sunshine. You are forever deprived of his hugs, his smell, his voice, his kisses.”
Louis, who was 6 years old at the time of the events, is facing a situation as painful as it is complicated, his mother has disappeared and his father is considered the ideal culprit. He has already had several hearings – the last could be the subject of a procedural defect – during which he explained that he saw his parents arguing during the fateful night. Maître Boguet told France 3 Occitanie last December: “I urge people to hear that this little seven-year-old boy is not judgmental. Above all, he expresses a lack at the level of his parents.“Louis and d’Elyah also see their paternal grandmother, who has the right to stay on Tuesday evenings and every other weekend, and Delphine Jubillar’s brother for one weekend a month.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
