In his autobiography Between dog and wolf published on March 10, Anthony Delon talked about his childhood. A period marked by the bloodshed of his father, Alain Delon and the absence of his mother, Nathalie, who died on January 21, 2021. Three weeks after the release of the book, the 57-year-old actor spoke with our colleagues from World. During this interview, the latter will notably recount terrifying scenes or blood-curdling remarks. “He said to me: ‘Even my dogs, I don’t hit them with this whip'”, he recalled. Then came the day of the “rebellion”. “I stopped being afraid of him at 17. He was locked up in his Paris office and didn’t want to see me. One day, I went upstairs to face him. Like in a horde, I was ready to measure me against the dominant. He understood it and he remained locked up”.
At the beginning of April, the companion of Sveva Alviti shared in the columns of Parisian Jaguar’s reaction to his writings. “We see each other regularly now and I feel that he is making peace with himself. The book does him good”he explained. “This book is absolutely not a settling of accounts. What is important is that my father said to himself: ‘My son has forgiven me’ (…) This book is also a message of ‘love to my father’.
At the height of his 86 years, Alain Delon will participate in the 50th edition of the La Rochelle Cinema Festival which will be held from July 1 to 10, 2022, as announced South West.
