Delphine Jubillar has not given any sign of life since December 2020, after that night when everything changed. Justice, investigators and relatives of the 33-year-old young woman are trying to understand what could have happened for this mother of two children, Louis and Elyah, to suddenly disappear. The Parisian had collected the testimony of his closest colleagues. Moving words about this dedicated nurse for her job and for others. They highlight in particular the change in behavior of their friend shortly before her husband, Cédric Jubillar, was remanded in custody for spousal homicide.
One of Delphine’s colleagues, Michelle, had made revelations about Delphine Jubillar’s behavior just before her disappearance: “In the weeks before her disappearance, I saw her completely addicted to her phone. She never parted with it and wrote messages compulsively… I even found that a bit exaggerated.“
And for good reason, with her precious object, the one who was in divorce proceedings with Cédric Jubillar communicated with her lover, whom she nicknamed the lover of Montauban. A man met via an application and who seemed to have a very different temperament from the one she had married in 2013. Michelle knew nothing of this new relationship, but after the disappearance of her colleague, she read the testimony of the lover desperate : “It was then that we understood what she was going through deep inside her the weeks preceding her disappearance, sighs Michelle. It was a very beautiful love story with a man who seemed to suit her. A gentle and respectful man. Quite the opposite of Cedric. He could be arrogant, without embarrassment.“
Already at the time of this interview, those close to Delphine Jubillar underlined the disturbing attitude of the one who is considered the ideal culprit. Now, according to the prosecution, a motive has clearly emerged: he would have acted out of jealousy, not accepting to see his wife escape him and want to build something with another. The investigation is continuing, in particular with the in-depth analysis of the use of the victim’s famous smartphone, which cannot be found, but from which information can be drawn remotely or by studying a similar device.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
