Arrested last summer in front of Véronique Sanson’s home, a resident of Brest was summoned to the 7th correctional chamber of the Judicial Court of Versailles (Yvelines) on Friday, November 5. She was to be judged for sexual harassment, threat and exhibition.
Erotomaniac delirium
Crazy in love with the singer for nearly twenty years, this woman was not on her first visit. According to an article by Actu.fr citing “a source close to the file”, Brestoise would have “developed an erotomaniac delirium”. During confinement in March 2020, she would have spent nearly a month in her car in front of the star’s house, going as far as showing off under her windows. Six months later, the fifty-something is back and utters threats against the manager of the property. To date, Véronique Sanson has not filed a complaint.
An abolition of discernment?
This Friday, the case was returned at the request of the defense, which obtained complete psychiatric expertise of the accused. Absent at the hearing, she was recently placed under curatorship. “I think she potentially has an abolition of discernment”, explains his lawyer, Me Julie Lehut. The experts will have to make their conclusions before June 1, 2022. If they believe that Brestoise is responsible for its actions, it will be judged on September 9, 2022.
In the meantime, the defendant is prohibited from appearing in the Yvelines department and from coming into contact with Véronique Sanson and her entourage. It is also subject to a judicial review which obliges him to report regularly to the Brest police station, and to an obligation of care.
