Celine Dion postpones her European tour

Celine Dion announces Friday that she is forced to postpone until next year the series of shows she was to give this year in Europe.

In a communication on social networks, the Quebec artist who turned 54 last month explains that it is the persistence of muscle spasms that forces her to postpone her shows, even if she claims to still feel slightly better.

She adds that she is sorry and saddened to have to make such a decision, but that it is necessary for her to be in top form in order to be able to give 100% of herself on stage, because that is what her admirers deserve.

Celine Dion had previously postponed her European tour for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Celine Dion’s European tour is scheduled for 42 shows, starting February 24 in Prague, Czech Republic. The final concert is scheduled for October 4 in Helsinki, Finland.

Last January, she had canceled the last shows of her North American tour scheduled for March and April of this year due to her muscle spasms problem. These were concerts that had already been postponed.
