Pimp Westley Alectus, who was to receive his sentence Wednesday at the Montreal courthouse, did not appear before Judge Pierre Dupras. An arrest warrant has been issued against the former massage parlor owner.

At 2 p.m., the defense lawyer, Ms.and Anna Ouahnish, assured that her client “would only be 20 to 30 minutes late”, and that he was “ready to receive his prison sentence”.
Two hours later, Alectus had still not arrived at the courthouse. For the judge to pronounce his sentence despite the absence of the criminal, there would have to be proof that the latter was trying to elude the course of justice by fleeing to another province or another country.
Not having this proof in hand, Judge Dupras opted for the arrest warrant, in order to bring him by force before the Court. To do this, the Integrated Team for the Fight against Pimping (EILP) of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) was contacted.
