12 years after the launch of the series, the Crawley family is back on the big screen for a second film, part of the plot of which takes place in France. Thomas Etcheberry met the actors for France Bleu.
6 seasons, 52 episodes and now 2 movies… What started out as a series about the early decline of the British aristocracy has now become a full-fledged franchise! The second part of the cinematographic adventures of the Crawley family spell this Wednesday April 27 at the cinema with France Bleu!
“A new era” therefore takes us to the French coast. Shot on the side of Juan les Pins in full confinement, the film nevertheless promises us what has made the success of Downton Abbey so far: romance, history, lavish settings and commentary on society.
