the Hauts-de-France final is getting ready

In search of young reading champions

Launched in France in 2012, the big game of “Little reading champions” is intended for all CM1 and CM2 pupils, in mainland France and overseas, who are invited to read aloud a text by their choice for three minutes. Completely free, it aims to promote reading and orality, in a fun way and from the angle of sharing.

Bringing together more than 100,000 CM1 and CM2 students this year, the great national reading aloud game Les Petits champions de la lecture is preparing for the regional stage: 14 finals in all, half of which are organized in physics for the very first time.

This is the case of the Hauts-de-France region whose final is organized at the Théâtre du Nord in Lille with 17 children.

The appointment is made on April 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. for a final in the presence of the public and a jury of 8 book and education professionals.

The names of the winners of all the regional stages will be announced on Thursday May 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. on the Little reading champions website.

And then, towards the Comédie-Française

The 14 regional finalists will meet on Wednesday June 29, 2022 on the stage of the Comédie-Française in Paris for the grand national final (event broadcast live on the site of the Little Reading Champions).
