Emmanuel Macron came out on top in the first round of the presidential election, so it was no surprise the presidential candidate who gathered the most in the second round in the Dijon ballot boxes. The unknown came mainly from the voters of France Insoumise. Who would benefit from their voice? Again, it is Emmanuel Macron who wins the bet. Everywhere, he finished ahead of Marine Le Pen in the urban area.
A success certainly, but compared to the previous presidential election, the re-elected president still fell by six points in Dijon.
Some results in the Dijon metropolitan area
- Has DijonEmmanuel Macron clearly comes out on top with 69.88% of the votes cast, i.e. 38,658 ballots against 30.12% of the votes for Marine Le Pen (16,659 ballots). But the abstention rate is high to 28.91%, i.e. 5 points more than in the first round (23.41%)
– The Canton of Dijon 1 square Emmanuel Macron clearly in the lead with 74.45% of the vote. Marine Le Pen collects 25.55% of the vote. Abstention amounts to 23.71% in the canton.

– The canton of Dijon 6 is on the same line as the other five. Emmanuel Macron recorded 64.45% of the vote, far ahead of Marine Le Pen at 34.55%. Abstained 24.43%.
How did we vote in the agglomeration?
– The Township of Chenove had placed Jean-Luc Mélenchon well ahead in the first lap. The voters of France Insoumise carried their votes to Emmanuel Macron who won 64.55% of the vote against 35.45% for Marine Le Pen. The abstention rate is 24.4%. An even more important advantage in the single municipality of Chenové where the outgoing president gathers 65.96% of the votes for 34.04% to Marine Le Pen for an abstention rate equivalent to 24.4%.
– In the township of Longvic, there too France Insoumise came out on top in the first round. This time, Emmanuel Macron is the winner of the ballot with 59.85% against 40.15% for Marine Le Pen. The abstention is 24.40%. Voters in the commune of Longvic alone were even more numerous to vote for Emmanuel Macron, 61.15%. Marine Le Pen collects 38.85% of the vote. Abstained: 24.36%
– The city of talant majority vote for Emmanuel Macron. The outgoing president achieves a score of 69.38% of the votes. That’s more than double his opponent. Marine Le Pen won only 30.62% of the votes cast. The abstention amounts to 24.41%. The level of Township of Talantalso advantage to Emmanuel Macron with 61.87% of the vote against 38.13% for the RN.
– Quetigny chose to vote Emmanuel Macron after having largely given France Insoumise the lead in the first round. The outgoing president obtains 68.42% against only 31.58% of the votes for Marine Le Pen. Abstained: 22.49%

– Fontaine-les-Dijon overwhelmingly voted in favor of Emmanuel Macron with 70.05% of the vote against 29.95% for Marine Le Pen. Abstention is 23.58% in this municipality. The level of Canton of Fontaine-lès-Dijon Emmanuel Macron is also in the lead with 66.25% of the vote against 33.75% for Marine Le Pen. Abstained 24.14%.
– In Saint ApollinairePresident Emmanuel Macron comes first with 63.84% of the vote against only 36.16% for the RN. Abstention reached 23.66%. In the canton of Saint-Apollinairethe advantage is also to the outgoing president with 56.69% of the vote against 43.31% for the RN.
– Marsannay-la-Cote gives the advantage to Emmanuel Macron. With 62.23% of the votes cast, the outgoing president finished first in the municipality. Marine Le Pen is far behind with only 37.77% of the vote. Abstention amounts to 22.17%.
