Emmanuel Macron wins in Haute-Garonne

The results are still far from final, in Haute-Garonne, but the trend is there. The victory is clear for Emmanuel Macron in the department. After the counting of nearly half of the ballots, the En Marche candidate obtains 57% of votes in the second round of the presidential election, ahead of Marine Le Pen.

Emmanuel Macron should obtain a substantial result at Toulouse, where polling stations closed at 8 p.m. At 10:30 p.m., only 21% of the ballots had been counted, but the outgoing president obtained 77% of the votes.

Notable results

In Martres-Tolosane, the town of the socialist president of the region, Carole Delga, Marine Le Pen won this Sunday evening, with 54% of the vote. The RN candidate had already come out on top in the first round.

In Antichan-de-Frontignes, in the Comminges, Jean Lassalle had obtained 35% of the votes in the first round, one of the most important scores of the Pyrenean deputy. In the second round, it was finally Emmanuel Macron who came out on top, with 55%.

Still in Comminges, an unusual score in Gourdan-Polignan, near Montréjeau: Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen are in perfect equality, with 50% of the vote each.
