In mainland France, the polling stations will open on Sunday April 24 at 8 a.m. for the second round of the presidential election. Final preparations in the municipalities, example in Sélestat (Bas-Rhin).

There are only a few hours left before the second round of the presidential election, Sunday, April 24. It is also the home stretch for the municipal agents of Sélestat (Bas-Rhin), the time to settle the final details. Putting the polling booths back in place, the voting routes… Everything must be ready to best welcome voters in the city’s twelve polling stations. The ballot boxes are stored well protected in one of the rooms of the Town Hall, with all the voting material.

In the meantime, at reception, at the same time as the letter carrier, the last proxies arrive. In the end, three arrived on Saturday April 23, all added by hand to the attendance lists. Until the last moment, the city agents will be mobilized to allow the 14,000 voters of Sélestat to deposit their ballot in the ballot box.
