Interviewed by the newspaper The Parisian behind the scenes of his work, Anthony Delon explained himself frankly: “It is the story of a man who managed to heal wounds that prevented him from living. Just as my mother and my father had the feeling of being abandoned by their parents, I too suffered from this feeling, very strong. I went to boarding school when I was 10, my parents didn’t take special care of me, they were both in their lives. Thank God, Georges Beaume and Loulou were my supporting walls and greatly contributed to making me the person I am today. And then this book is also a message of love to my father.“
