On Saturday April 16, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle opened the 5th edition of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands, international games created for wounded and disabled soldiers and war veterans. A multisport meeting which includes: athletics, archery, road cycling, volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby.
The Florentine athlete Lorelei Taillandier, specialist in hammer throwing, put on his coaching outfit until April 22 to accompany the French delegation. A parenthesis rich in emotions, during a full season marked by a record: a throw approved at 65m, the one that allows you to claim a first participation in the Mediterranean Games which will take place in Oran this summer.
The track season is open
The track season has started and after two difficult years following the health crisis, the Department Committee has established its calendar of track competitions until July 06th. Eight competitions are on the program plus two rounds of regional interclubs on 8 and 22 May and the minimal regional ones on 12 June in Saint Florentin.
