Funeral of Tom Parker: his wife collapsed, the members of “The Wanted” in solidarity

A few weeks after the death of the singer Tom Parkerhis family was able to gather during his public funeral this Wednesday, April 20. Kelsey Hardwickthe actor’s widow was obviously present at the Saint Francis of Assisi church in Orpington, in the suburbs of London, to honor the memory of her late husband.

She was seen waving to the crowd at the window of the vehicle which read “Rest in Peace Tom Parker”. The star’s partners in the group that revealed him, The Wanted, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes were photographed carrying Tom’s coffin.

Tom Parker revealed that he had brain cancer at the end of 2020. The doctors told him that he had 18 months left to live. With his wife, who was then expecting her second child, had decided to fight a fierce battle for the disease. It was finally two years later that the 33-year-old singer was forced to surrender. Tom had enjoyed immense success with his band The Wanted in 2012 and the release of the hit Glad you came. After a separation in 2014, the group had planned to reform to release a record, despite the illness of the singer.
