Pandemic or not, Quebec is celebrating its music industry this Sunday evening with the presentation of the ADISQ gala. And as we take all the doses of “normality” these days, we will of course find the incomparable Louis-Josée Houde at the helm of the evening.
After the first two sections, that of Industry held last Monday and that of the “First Gala” held last Wednesday, we make way for the great honors. 12 Félix awards will be presented this evening, including the prestigious categories of performer, group, song and songwriter / composer of the year.
Among the favorites of the evening, note that rapper Fouki has no less than five nominations, including two thanks to his collaboration with Koriass on the project “Génies en forêt”.
Several artists have three nominations: Louis-Jean Cormier, Ariane Moffatt, CÅ “ur de pirate, Vincent Vallières, Les Cowboys fringants and 2Frères.
Then follow Pierre Lapointe, Klô Pelgag, Roxane Bruneau, Damien Robitaille, Koriass and Alex Burger with two nominations.
In the most coveted categories, first the performers of the year. Among the women, we find Roxane Bruneau, Cœur de Pirate, Ariane Moffatt, Klô Pelgag and Guylaine Tanguay.
Among the men, the artists in the running are Louis-Jean Cormier, Fouki, Damien Robitaille, Pierre Lapointe and Vincent Vallières.
As for the groups, the nominees are the essential Cowboys fringants, 2Frères, Bleu jeans bleu, Corridor, Comment debord and Les Cowboys fringants.
The gala will be broadcast on Radio-Canada from 7:30 p.m.
