After each columnist has given his opinion, Cyril Hanouna has asked their feelings to the main concerned. Delphine Wespiser said she would never speak on the subject again after this show. “I am not a government spokesperson, I am not Emmanuel Macron’s spokesperson, everyone has understood that. Nor am I a spokesperson for Marine Le Pen. I am just a spokesperson for the French who were unhappy and disappointed with this five-year term. To be punished because of that, I think it’s very very very sad for democracy“, she then said.
For his part, Bernard Montiel also did not understand this decision, without being saddened. “I find it curious to be condemned because of his friendships. I have been friends with the Macrons for a very long time, long before the presidential election (…) They are friends whom I adore, whom I deeply love and whom I respect. Now in this program I have never proselytized. You can have friends and still not agree“, he reacted. The two columnists will of course return to their posts once the second round has passed.
Remember that Delphine Wespiser has been at the heart of all criticism since she supported Marine Le Pen, because she was too disappointed with Emmanuel Macron’s five-year term. A situation that affects him a lot. “It was one of the worst weekends of my life. I had thousands of insults, thousands of threats. (…) The media have made a big splash out of all this. They cut things out and told Delphine she’s promoting Marine Le Pen. But in fact that’s not it. I am a disappointed citizen. If I was promoting Marine Le Pen, I would have promoted her in the first round!“, she confided on April 19.
