Macron criticizes Le Pen for wanting to “ban the veil on public roads”, Léa Salmé forced to intervene!

During the debate between the two rounds, this Wednesday, April 20, Marine Le Pen criticized Emmanuel Macron for having prevented the FN from taking out a loan from a French bank for the 2017 presidential election.

“In 2015 I prevented you from finding a loan in a French bank?”then immediately asked the President of the Republic.

“You were Minister of the Economy at the time”replied Marine Le Pen. “Nobody ever intervened, you know that very well”made a point of specifying his adversary.

Emmanuel Macron immediately defended his European balance sheet, the main subject of this evening, and his desire to go further to strengthen it: “I am convinced that our sovereignty is national and European.”

And when Emmanuel Macron accused the representative of the RN of wanting to leave Europe, the latter assured that this was not the case, but that she wanted to reform the functioning of the European Union.

Then in the middle of all that, the veil was invited to the debate. Emmanuel Macron, for his part, criticized Marine Le Pen for “wanting to make France the first country in the world to ban the veil on public roads” and defend “a project detrimental to French universalism”.

Léa Salamé was forced to intervene and stop the two protagonists: “We’ll come back to it, we’ll come back to it later!”
