The novelty
Raspberry time
Everything Florence Longpré touches has been turning to gold for some time now. After writing Can you hear me ? with Pascale Renaud-Hébert and Nicolas Michon as well asAudrey came back with Guillaume Lambert, the author accomplishes a hat trick with Raspberry timewhich she signed with Suzie Bouchard (eye of the storm, Between two sheets). Directed by Philippe Falardeau, this new series paints the portrait of Elisabeth (formidable Sandrine Bisson), municipal official and mother who inherits a farm when her husband dies without warning. We immediately recognize the pen of Longpré. In the slightly quirky humor that rubs shoulders with the drama, in the abundance of silences (which she never tries to fill unnecessarily) and, above all, in the importance given to “ordinary” people, to whom she likes to give a voice.

I have a question
Laurent Duvernay-Tardif collects the testimonies of former athletes guilty of doping in this documentary series by director Frédéric Nassif (Second chance, Do useful work), which was previously offered exclusively on Crave. In the first episode, the footballer emerges from a frank conversation with Geneviève Jeanson with the assurance that the athlete only deserves part of the blame when he tests positive. He also passes an anti-doping test under our watchful eye. In subsequent episodes, the 1.96m colossus will deal with obesity, technologies that are transforming sport and food autonomy.

The return
The Flight Attendant
We really liked the first season of The flight attendant (The Flight Attendant in the original English version). Starring Kaley Cuoco, this comedy from HBO Max turned out to be a tasty, buttery popcorn series. We painted the (not very rosy) portrait of Cassie, a flight attendant in perpetual aftermath, whose existence changes completely when she wakes up in a luxury hotel in Bangkok… next to a slaughtered corpse . In this eight-episode sequel, the anti-heroine leads a sober life in Los Angeles, but once again sees her life turned upside down when the CIA sends her on a mission abroad.
