A person lost his life in a fire in a chalet in the Laurentides wildlife reserve in Saguenay.
The blaze broke out around 3:20 p.m. Saturday at the residence on Chemin du Lac du Bois Joli, in the Laterrière sector.
After controlling the flames, firefighters found a body in the rubble.
The file was therefore transferred to the Saguenay Police Department.
Investigators will analyze the scene with the assistance of specialized technicians from the Sûreté du Québec.
It is too early to tell whether or not this is arson.
