While everything is smiling at him at the moment, Cristiano Ronaldo has just experienced a terrible tragedy. A few days after his new hat-trick with Manchester United, and performances still as XXL as each other, the Portuguese had to deal with the death of one of his children… Georgina Rodriguez, his partner, was pregnant with a little boy and a baby girl for nine months. This one gave birth a few hours ago and thought of offering a new gift from heaven to her man. But things weren’t going as planned…far from it.
Indeed, CR7 took over his Instagram account to announce terrible news. Her baby boy died during childbirth. “It is with deep sadness that we have to announce the death of our son. It is the greatest pain parents can feel.”he wrote at first, no doubt overcome by emotion before specifying that his granddaughter was doing very well: “Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live this moment with a little hope and happiness”.
Cristiano Ronaldo asks to respect his privacy
Despite the tragic event, Cristiano Ronaldo did not fail to thank the nursing staff who would have done everything to try to save the little boy. “We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their care and support”continued the fivefold Ballon d’Or who had the strength to announce the news but who should take time for him and meet up with his family in the coming days after the end of his text: “We are devastated by this loss and we beg respect for our privacy at this difficult time, both parents wrote again. Baby, you are our angel. We will always love you. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez”.
