Vinocity in partnership with The City of Wine : ” Picasso, the effervescence of forms ” from April 15 to August 28, 2022
“Picasso’s representation of wine is like a way of signaling a mode of existence. Wine and alcohol are recurring motifs in the works of _picasso_. It crosses movements and eras and always bears witness to what surrounds it. His artistic production is rich and diverse.” Stephane Guegan
the Cité Du Vin wanted to produce and offer an exhibition devoted to a major artist of the 20th century. In Picasso’s work, wine and spirits occupy a singular place, at once symbolic, formal and social. The result is a superb intelligent exhibition rich and general public imagined by the teams of La Cité Du Vin with loans and the support of the Picasso-Paris National Museum and Barcelona Picasso Museum
