The grand finale of the Best Bakery in France
5 days of competition for all of these pairs, 5 tests proposed by the jury and at the end only one winner for the title of Best Bakery in France.
- Monday April 18 : it’s the beginning of the week of the grand finale for the 14 pairs. 8 will remain in competition at the end of this first day. To qualify, each bakery in the running as well as the 2 apprentices have to offer the jury an original sweet tart representing their region. Bruno Cormerais and Norbert Tarayre will judge the candidates on the mastery of pastry techniques, the agreement of tastes and the perfection of the visual.
- Tuesday April 19 : Of the 8 remaining teams, 4 will be drawn for today’s event and 4 others for Wednesday’s. For this Tuesday, the selected pairs will compete around an original mushroom-based creation. At the end of this challenge, the jury will qualify a bakery. The 3 other pairs will compete in a repechage event with the nun’s revisit. One of the 3 teams will continue the adventure.

Only one of these 3 teams will get their pass for the rest of the adventure.
- Thursday April 21 : We are at the semi-final stage with 4 teams in contention. All the artisans still in competition will have to create original snacking products, including a cold sandwich, a hot sandwich and a bakery pizza.
