Two men were arrested and quantities of narcotics seized in a police anti-drug operation in the town of La Sarre, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
The net was carried out during two searches in residences on Avenue des Cèdres and 1st Avenue East, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said on Thursday.
Two men aged 41 and 48 briefly arrested before being released could appear in court on charges related to narcotics and tobacco tax.
The police seized nearly 250 methamphetamine tablets, more than 400 grams of cannabis, illicit cannabis plants, hashish and nearly 450 contraband cigarettes.
Prescription drugs, cash, equipment used to sell narcotics, a can of cayenne pepper and cell phones were also seized.
