the heartbreaking confessions of Axel Bauer struck by kidney cancer

Alex Bauer has come a long way. And for good reason in 2017, the interpreter of “Cargo” learned that he had a kidney tumor. The doctors’ diagnosis completely shook him. “When it was announced to me, I really believed that it was folded”, confessed the star in the columns of Gala this Thursday, April 14 and to specify: “Fortunately I was taken care of in time, I had surgery and I take this opportunity to praise the screening”.

Now Axel Bauer wants to move on. In May 2022, the artist will unveil his seventh opus called “Radio London”. The opportunity for the ex-companion of Nathalie Cardone to pay tribute to his parent Franck Bauer, who distinguished himself as speaker French forces during World War II.

“I want to share with the public”

Out of sight, Jim Bauer’s father took his time to record this album. This period was extremely beneficial to him. “I wanted to write about this passage, this transition between the moment when you think you are immortal and the moment when you think everything is over”, analyzed the interpreter of “Let come”. “Basically, there may be a correlation between this ordeal and the fact of talking about my father in my album. In both cases, it is a question of resistance, and not only with a capital “R”.

On the set of Taratata last March, Axel Bauer had delivered on his single “C’est malin” in which he evokes the feelings that overwhelm us after the announcement of terrible news. “It’s a very personal song that I want to share with the public. It’s something quite tragic, it’s not a funny song. It’s that moment when you learn very, very bad news, which upsets you”, he explained to Nagui, not without emotion. “The first thing you do when you hear this kind of news is you review your life, you say to yourself: “Ah I did that, I messed up there, that’s smart”.
