The day after this big announcement, Alessandro Belmondo and his companion – to whom he has been in a PACS since August 2020 – said a little more about the origin of the first name of their little Vahé. “For the first name info: Vahe was an ancient Armenian king. He was allied with Darius III the king of Persia. King Vahé notably revolted against Alexander the Great. Vahé was born the day after the 89th birthday of his famous great-grandfather. On April 9, 2022, many members of the clan had posted messages on this occasion, including Alessandro. “You would have been a year older and you would have been proud to soon become a great-grandfather for the first time… I love you“, had written the chef in the caption of a family photo showing him as a child, eating ice cream with his adored grandpa and his dad.
Died in September 2021, Jean-Paul Belmondo had not had time to learn that he was going to be a great-grandfather for the first time. “As a precaution, we respected the famous rule of three months, he confides. My grandfather was already in too poor health for me to talk to him about it in person.
