Two Palestinian teenagers and a lawyer were killed on Wednesday April 13 in the occupied West Bank where Israeli forces say they are tracking suspects linked to recent attacks in metropolitan Tel Aviv. Specifically, a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Husan. Another young man, aged 18, died in the village of Silwad, near the city of Ramallah. Finally, the 34-year-old lawyer is Mohammad Hassan Mohammad Assaf, was killed near the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Mohammad Hassan Mohammad Assaf is dead “after being shot in the chest by the Israeli occupation army during the aggression on the city of Nablus”, in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. Mohammad Assaf “was a fierce defender of his people”paid tribute to him by the Commission for Resistance to Settlement and the Wall, an entity of the Palestinian Authority for which he worked.
Regarding the death of the 16-year-old teenager, the tragedy occurred during an operation by Israeli forces against Husan, a village near the city of Bethlehem, in the south of the occupied West Bank, detailed the Palestinian ministry in a statement. The Israeli army, for its part, clarified that“A suspect threw a Molotov cocktail at soldiers in the locality of Husan” and the soldiers retaliated by firing at “live ammunition to stop the immediate threat”without specifying whether the suspect is dead.
Finally, concerning the 18-year-old teenager, it was “hit by live ammunition in the chest” pulled “by the Israeli army”, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. According to the ministry, the teenager’s death followed a clash following the arrest of a person in the village of Silwad near the city of Ramallah, which also left six injured.
