The film “Les Segpa”, a success story made in Marseille in theaters on April 20!

A success story from the web to the cinema!

“Les Segpa” directed by Hakim & Ali Bougheraba, and with Ichem Bougheraba (three brothers from Marseilles whom you certainly already know), or even Emma Smet, tells the story of a group of teenagers who are fired from their establishment in Marseilles . To their great surprise, they integrate the prestigious Franklin D. Roosevelt college. The Principal, reluctant to see the reputation of his school deteriorate, imagines a scheme to fire the SEGPA while keeping the aid.

This comedy is the adaptation of the web-series “Les Segpa”, the most viewed web-series in France. The three Marseille brothers are behind the web-series and the film, and have more than 3 million subscribers on their Youtube channel.

The film will be released in theaters on April 20 in France but will be the subject of an early release in Marseille (obviously!) a week earlier, that is to say on April 13!

Hakim & Ali Bougheraba, in the studios of France Bleu Provence

Desire for success, difficulties related to the school system, class struggle, friendship…Beyond being a social comedy carrying very positive values, the film is also an ode to Marseille! Hakim and Ali Bougheraba shot the entire feature film in Provence: the city center, Les Goudes, La Couronne beach. And the city of Marseille is absolutely beautiful.

The two directors from Marseille went through the studios of France Bleu Provence, at the microphone of Mélanie Masson.
