On March 30, 2022, Dany Boon and Laurence Arné made a romantic outing at the concert of singer and pianist Rufus Wainwrigh at the Grand Rex in Paris. Photographed backstage, they were able to pose with the American-Canadian artist currently on a European tour for his new album Unfollow the Rules. More bearded (and hairy) than usual, the film’s favorite actor Welcome to the Ch’tis was very chic dressed in a navy blue woolen jacket accompanied by a beige silk scarf. For her part, her companion Laurence Arné revealed herself with a platinum blonde color as well as with a casual style combining denim with a long khaki jacket.
In a relationship since 2018, the lovers formalized their relationship last May on RTL, after three years of love. He then revealed what made him fall in love with the actress with whom he shared the poster in the film 8 Humanity Street on Netflix: “Laurence’s point of insanity is her creativity. She has a madness that is natural and she makes you laugh in a spontaneous and delirious way. She will not hesitate to make a fool of herself to make people laugh. We are always ready to wink at each other, but without a filter. Even when there are people, just because it will make people laugh.“
Dany Boon and Laurence Arné were not the only personalities present in the backstages. Léa Drucker or Dominique Besnehard had also been invited to share this moment of music.
During this Parisian evening, the audience at the Grand Rex was surprised to see Catherine Deneuve take the stage to perform the title God is a cigar smoker with Rufus Wainwright. As a reminder, Catherine Deneuve sang this song with Serge Gainsbourg in 1980, for the film I like You (directed by Claude Berri).
Surprised, Rufus Wainwright had questioned Catherine Deneuve: “I recently learned that tonight is really the first time you sing on stage. Can you explain a bit to me?“.”It’s madness yes for me. It’s him, it’s his voice, his name, that’s what decided me. I never went on stage, I never sang live. I sang a lot at the cinema in lip sync, of course. But it was he who gave me a crazy challenge, an incredible madness. But hey, it’s done. And we hope that…” she replied. At the end of her performance, the actress was treated to a long ovation from the public according to The Parisian. Calogero also performed on the Grand Rex stage with Rufus Wainwright.
