this family story that pushed the singer to leave Corsica!

After finding Eddy Mitchell and Johnny Hallyday in a tour called “The old scoundrels”, Jacques Dutronc decided to go back on stage. And it is again next to a loved one that he takes the microphone. The singer and his son Thomas Dutronc will launch their joint tour on April 12 in Courbevoie, before moving to the Casino de Paris and then touring France until February 2023. The father/son duo will even perform at the Accor Arena on December 21, 2022. The two artists will perform their respective hits, including the septuagenarian’s standards like “And me, and me, and me”, “Gentleman burglar”, “The little garden”, which they had performed as a duet for Françoise Hardy’s son’s previous project, “Do not do this, do not do that” or “Les cactus”.

“We want to play together and have fun so much that we are even ready to leave Corsica to go play on the continent, I don’t know if you can imagine?”, says Thomas Dutronc on the airwaves of France Inter. For his part, Jacques Dutronc does not hide his enthusiasm as a young first found either: “I like him to get out of here. Leaving Corsica, the cats are something! They offered me a number of dates, it was huge. Each time, I want to take out my identity card showing my age”

questioned by our colleagues from Parisian on the possibility of new songs during their tour, Thomas Dutronc explained: “Not for the moment, we’ll see, I have two or three ideas. But that’s not the goal. There is already so many great songs from dad… People want to hear the safe bets”.

A tour that Jacques Dutronc will approach perhaps more healthily than in the past. Indeed, Thomas’s father revealed to Figaro the new substance that allows him to hold on. No more alcoholic drinks, it is now with Cohiba (famous brand of cigars) and organic chicory that the singer carbides. A 100% alcohol-free cocktail. It’s not bad, but it’s better with honey in it”
