(Bogota) At least 10 people died and seven are missing after torrential rains in northwestern Colombia, authorities said Thursday.

“In Abriqui, in the department of Antioquia, a torrential flood occurred in the early hours of the morning due to heavy rains, which affected a mine located in the area. The preliminary toll is 10 dead, seven missing and 10 injured,” the state-run National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) said in a tweet.
