The Sea Dogs have the last word

The 20and Philippe Daoust’s net of the season allowed the Sea Dogs to win their fourth straight game, this time by a score of 4 to 3 against the Gatineau Olympiques, Wednesday in Saint John.

The Maritime club erased a two-goal deficit in this meeting. Josh Lawrence, Brady Burns and Ryan Francis scored unanswered in the second and third to give the home favorites the lead.

Antonin Verreault, with his second of the game, however, sent everyone into overtime.

Nikolas Hurtubise looked better than his counterpart Emerik Despatie by stopping 32 pucks in the victory.

The Olympiques have nothing to be ashamed of their performance, picking up a point in a fifth game in a row by virtue of a 3-0-2 record.
