AT Cantaous (Hautes-Pyrenees)Lucian Capuozzo and Lawrence Bolttwo retirees, get to know each other. Lucian at 90 years old, and has lived here for four months. Laurent, 80 years old, come just arrived. They are part of the seven roommates of a residence for seniors, able to accommodate eight boarders, installed in a wing of the convent of Cantaous. Around the pool of the residence, the links are woven.

Each resident has his/her personal assistant. They are five to take turns, for a presence 24 hours a day. Pauline Pons, 89, is one of the first tenants. She used to live with a foster family, but she preferred leave because it had no conversation with its members. In the residence, everyone evolves at their own pace. In the shared kitchen and living room, the carers take care of everything. You have to pay around 1,400 euros per month to live in this residence.
