Life is sweet and too short not to enjoy it. This message is the one that Gaëlle Pietri, mother of Orso, only child of Gaspard Ulliel, tries to convey to him.
Since the disappearance of his father in a ski accident, his mother is even more caring than she was before. Moments with friends, parenthesis between mother and son, games and getaways in the middle of nature, all the means are good to ease the pain of absence and the last weeks spent. This week, Gaëlle Pietri and Orso headed for the zoo of La Flèche in Sarthe. Fan of animals, the little boy had the privilege of sleeping in the middle of white tigers. A single glance from his room allowed him to observe the majestic mammals while being protected and living normally. A beautiful gift for the man who is passionate about the environment around him and its protection, just like his dad.
Gaspard Ulliel was committed to the defense of the environment. After having started her work of mourning in the most resounding (and legitimate) of silences, Gaëlle Pietri had made her return to Instagram by paying tribute to the actor: “Gaspard was a diver, sensitive to climate issues and concerned about the protection of underwater biodiversity, he would have liked the momentum aroused by his disappearance to go to the defense of these causes that were close to his heart. We wanted to honor his memory by contributing to the Fondation Tara Océan association.“A mission that Orso should therefore continue to perpetuate the memory of his father.
Gaspard Ulliel and Gaëlle Pietri were no longer together at the time of the star’s deathA long engagement Sunday. But for the sake of their 6-year-old son, the parents remained on good terms. It is besides to three that they took advantage of the ski last January before the accident which will be fatal to the actor. Gaspard Ulliel had discreetly rebuilt his life with the actress Vicky Krieps, met in the jury of the Deauville American Film Festival. Their story had remained secret until the actress burst into tears at the funeral of the one she loved so much.
