Several Kinder products have been recalled by Ferrero. They could contain salmonella, a bacterium that causes intestinal disorders in particular.
They are still present in certain supermarket shelves, Tuesday April 5, and perhaps in your cupboards. Caution: several Kinder products should not be consumed. Hundreds of tons of chocolate have been recalled by Ferrero due to suspected salmonella. These are Kinder Surprises with expiry dates between the end of June and the end of October, but also Kinder Shoko-Bons with expiry dates between the end of April and the end of August, Kinder Mini Eggs to be consumed before the end of April and August and finally Kinder Happy Moments, Kinder mix which expire at the end of August.
As the Easter holidays approach, families are wondering what to buy after this announcement. 21 patients have been reported in France and eight have been hospitalized, mainly very young children. They had all eaten Kinder products made in the factory in Arlon (Belgium). The Institut Pasteur is investigating, this is not the first time that salmonella have been found in chocolate products. These bacteria cause intestinal disorders, sometimes accompanied by high fever or vomiting. The UK also recalled Kinder products four days ago.
