Her name is Francine, she is 103 years old and lives alone in her apartment in Montbéliard, with some outside help.
She is a fan of Hervé Blanchard, the sports journalist of France Bleu Belfort Montbéliard, and above all a fervent supporter of the FCSM. She attended the inauguration of the Forge stadium when she was only 13 years old. On November 11, 1931, during a Peugeot Cup match, the Sochaliens beat the Stade Français and inaugurated in a beautiful way the enclosure called the Stade de la Forge and which in 1945 would become the Bonal stadium.
Despite her advanced age, Francine will be there to support the “yellow and blue” in the final sprint for the rise in Ligue 1. She will be behind her post to listen to Hervé Blanchard’s comments on France Bleu while Stéphane Veaux the club announcer, will send him a short note.
