It’s been two years since the cavalcade criss-crossed the streets of Hagondange. For his big comeback, the 38th edition of the carnival had seen the big picture, in particular by announcing a “comic book” theme to the sixty groups of carnival-goers mobilized for the event. “It’s great, it’s been a long time since we had a party“, smiles Rachel, disguised as a zebra for the occasion.
But it is other animals that have mainly marked the spirits. Chosen from the hearts of many spectators, a group of revelers from Arlon, in Belgium, paraded the many kilometers, disguised as boars. “They are scary, but I liked their disguise“, confides Lauriane. “Aaaah the boars, they are terrible!“, preferred Rémi. Even if despite everything, other tanks had their little effect, especially when it came to distributing candy!
Even by the side of the road, some spectators played the game and came in disguise themselves. This is the case of Mike and Caroline, alias Mario and Luigi, the two famous video game hero. “It’s fun to play the game and we see that other people have done the same“, explains Luigi. “The cavalcade is very nice, and we are regularly photographed“, adds Mario.
