Montrealers wishing to be vaccinated at the Olympic Stadium will have to go elsewhere, starting next Thursday, since the vaccination center will officially close its doors.

“After more than a year of activities, we are proud to mention that the vaccination teams at the Olympic Stadium will have administered more than 1,040,232 vaccines,” said the CIUSS de l’Est de l’Île-de-l’Île. -Montreal in a press release.
“Citizens who wish to be vaccinated can go to the various CLSCs in our territory. In fact, no less than eight CLSCs in the East of Montreal are now involved in order to offer vaccination options, with or without an appointment”, indicated the CIUSS, which also reminds us that vaccination is the best way to protect themselves from COVID, while the BA.2 variant is spreading visibly.
Although the INSPQ announced earlier this week that Quebec had entered its sixth wave of COVID-19, Public Health Canada prefers, for its part, to speak only of a simple resurgence of cases.
Remember that 90.8% of the population over the age of 12 in Quebec is adequately vaccinated (2 doses).
