Green Party of Canada MP Elizabeth May has tested positive for COVID-19 and is not happy with the country’s recent upsurge in cases.

The representative for the Saanich-Gulf Islands riding said she received her positive result on Thursday, while she has been in Ottawa since March 20.
“I was isolated when I started to feel bad. This disease is no joke. I don’t think I’m going to be hospitalized, but I’m very sick. And angry. Too many people unmasked,” she said in a Twitter post on Friday.
“Please everyone – stay safe. Now is not the time to be in crowded indoor spaces,” she added in another tweet.
