Koh-Lanta threatened? TF1 makes an announcement on the future of the show that will shock viewers!

Tuesday 29 March, TF1 broadcast a friendly match of the French team against South Africa, won by Kylian Mbappé and his teammates, instead of a new episode of the new season of Koh-Lanta. But do not panic, the edition, the cursed totem will be on the first channel on April 5th. While there are still several weeks of broadcast before the outcome of this umpteenth season, Xavier Gandon, the director of the group’s TV and digital antennas TF1 gave an interview to our colleagues from Pure Media.

And the latter has announced an announcement that is likely to make people talk. Asked about the possibility of seeing the flagship game a second time at the start of the 2022 school year, he replied: “There is no filming in progress for a new season. There will therefore be no second season of Koh-Lanta at the start of the school year”he said before adding that the show could return to the screens, not on Tuesday but on Friday, as has been the case in previous years. “The Tuesday evening box is not necessarily intended to remain a box of streaming programs. It will depend on the offer of American series. We will be pragmatic”.

In the meantime, adventure game aficionados will be entitled to a break of several months before a return in 2023, celebrated as it should be.
