Canada will face Belgium, Morocco and Croatia in Group F of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Last country to come out of the abacus, Canada has therefore entered the last group available. He will start his tournament against Belgium, the second nation in the world according to the latest FIFA rankings, on November 23.
His second match, four days later, will be against Croatia, ranked 16th. He will finish the group stage on December 1, against Morocco, who are ranked 24th in the world.
Canada, who finished first in the Concacaf qualifying standings, currently sit 38th in the world. He fell five places due to his two defeats suffered in the last three qualifying games.
These were Canada’s first two losses in this process.
This is only the second time in its history that the Canadian men’s national team has qualified for the World Cup after the 1986 edition, presented in Mexico.
