The President of the Republic is planning a speech on November 9 at 8 p.m. He should in particular speak on the third dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.
Emmanuel Macron will address the French on Tuesday, November 9 at 8 p.m. “The announcements will not be decided until Tuesday after a health defense council”, explains the journalist France Télévisions Jean-Baptiste Marteau live from the Élysée. “We will first discuss the third booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19”. This third dose is still only open to over 65s, to caregivers or to people with certain pathologies. But it is only recommended for these audiences. “Should it be made compulsory? This is an option being seriously considered“, reports the journalist. “The government is discussing the possibility of making the health pass conditional on the injection of this additional dose of vaccine.”
But the government does not want to “hold up the French”, advances Jean-Baptiste Marteau. Emmanuel Macron, who has not spoken solemnly since July 12, was to take advantage of this speech to discuss other themes such as the ongoing reforms or the economic recovery.
