A sex shop brand based in Nice is organizing a vote to represent “the Republic of Desire”

The sex object brand, Passage du Désir, based in Nice in particular, is organizing a campaign to elect the president of “the Republic of Desire in 2022”.

Several candidates are in the running and the vote will take place in all the shops in France with improvised polling stations. The candidates are:

– Edith the Rabbit. Slogan: relax.

– Ludo the dildo. Slogan: respect for traditions.

– Bastien the penis ring. Slogan: Unity is strength.

– Margaux the clit vacuum cleaner. Slogan: For a new breath.

The quinquennium of sex toys corresponds to 20 sextoys offered to the winner, i.e. the equivalent of 4 sextoys per year for 5 years.

According to an Ifop survey, in 2020, the proportion of the population having already used a sex toy exceeded for the first time the symbolic threshold of 50% : 51% precisely, a record level.
