Major road obstacles are to be expected during the weekend in Montreal, particularly in the areas of Highway 25, the Honoré-Mercier Bridge and the Saint-Pierre interchange, warns Mobility Montreal.
Highway 25 southbound will be completely closed between Exit 4 and Route 132, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday. By default, the entrances on rue Sherbrooke, avenue Souligny and rue Tellier and rue des Futailles will be closed, as of Friday 11:30 pm Motorists are invited to take a detour via avenue Souligny, rue Dickson south, rue Notre-Dame, boulevard René-Lévesque, avenue Papineau and the Jacques-Cartier bridge.

The Honoré-Mercier Bridge towards Kahnawake will be completely closed, from Saturday 2 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Traffic will be in the opposite direction towards Montreal, at the rate of one lane per direction.

Regarding the Saint-Pierre interchange, the ramp leading from Autoroute 20 East (exit 63) to Route 138 West / Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be completely closed, from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. As of 11 p.m., one out of three lanes will be closed on Highway 20 eastbound, between exit 62 and the interchange. Every other lane will be closed on the ramp from Autoroute 20 West (Exit 63) to Route 138 West.
