The weekend is coming to an end and Pascal Obispo fans have something to smile about! But for what reasons? Five months after the release of his last album France, including songs originally composed in 1997 for France Gall, the fifty-year-old is already working on a next opus. “Next week we’re attacking the Unplugged album with a few nuggets that are part of my favorite songs from the French repertoire. And it’s only just begun…”he wrote on his account instagram. A future record that titillates its audience: “It will be on top as always”, “Too excited”, “Can’t wait to find out”, “Beautiful things to come”, “Can’t wait to hear what you’re preparing for us”could we read in the comments.
But that’s obviously not all…
A tour next year
The interpreter of Fan also shared another news. Also on social networks, the artist, who mentioned his musicians (Manu Katché, Max Pinto or even Julien Schultheis, editor’s note), revealed that he was going on tour. In the caption of a photo of him where he poses with an electric guitar, the singer added hashtags “2023” and “tour”. And a few days ago, he made a promise: “We are preparing pretty things”.
During his passage on RTLlast October, Pascal Obispo spoke about this subject with great enthusiasm. “At the level of the tour, with pleasure but I have a key number, a number that comes up all the time, it’s 23. Me, I did my 100 dates, all my comrades couldn’t turn so I let them go on the road. 23 is a number that comes back, it’s recurrent, it’s hell! It has become my favorite number so I see 2023 coming”.
