A particularly inspired Pascal Siakam led the Toronto Raptors to a convincing 117-104 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday at Scotiabank Arena.
The Cameroonian converted 12 of his 20 shots, including six of his seven attempts from downtown, as well as all of his five free throws, for a total of 35 points. He also added five rebounds and six assists to his record.
Quebecer Chris Boucher was Siakam’s main ally, he who scored 17 points in 33 min 24 s on the floor, in addition to adding eight rebounds. The other representative of the Belle Province of the Raptors, Khem Birch, concluded his evening with four points, two rebounds and an assist in just over 13 minutes of play.
Lauri Markannen was the visitors’ most productive player, with 20 points.
The Raptors will stay in Toronto for the next few days. The Indiana Pacers will be their next opponents on Saturday.
